- Retirees Club members planning to play in this year’s Championship on Sept, 17 are reminded to sign up before Sept. 11. You can find the sign up sheets on the Retirees notice board.
- Thursday, September 3 is the final day to signup for the Ladies Host The Retirees scheduled for Tuesday, September 8 – this will help the Ladies meet their deadlines for planning the event.
- The final regular Thursday event, September 10 will be Hawaiian Shirt Day. Celebrate the end of summer by wearing that Hawaiian, or other loud shirt, that hangs in you closet. Wear it and you can enter the draw for a prize.
The 92nd Blaylock Ladies Club Championship was held at Birchbank Golf Course on August 22 & 23.

Tee Time Change Update
We are getting fewer hours of daylight therefore effective September 1st the first tee time will be 8:00 with the Pro Shop answering the phone at 7:30 each day.
Bistro will open at 8:00 AM with the kitchen at 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM, except for Men’s and Ladies night

Birchbank Golf and Howie Fishwick Scholarship are happy to announce that we have two Junior club members that will receive the 2015 Howie Fishwick Scholarship – Ryan Fullerton and Jayden Crandell. Ryan is attending UBC in Kelowna studying Engineering while Jayden is attending the University of Calgary also studying Engineering. Good luck to both in the future.

Sixty players teed it up for this year’s Dice Scramble. Tournament Winners, with a score of 65 was the team of Al Karges, Stan Trozzo, Butch Palmer, and Dave Wray. Runners Up, also with a score of 65 was the team of Bill Postnikoff, Dave Ross, Paul Troseth, and Paul Huzsti and in Third Place, shooting a 68, was Tom Keen, Al Gallamore and Doug Glover.
